Not everyone wants to spend all day behind a desk...
and not everyone wants to spend all day in a warehouse.  If you enjoy helping customers, staying active, and doing something different every day, this could be the perfect fit.  We're looking for a versatile team member who enjoys working with people just as much as working with products. One moment you'll be helping a customer choose new flooring, and the next you'll be loading their order and making sure they leave happy with their Floor Trader buying experience.

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

• You've worked in retail or customer service but enjoy staying active and don't mind physical work.
• You've worked in a warehouse, construction, delivery or trades and enjoy helping customers.
• You're the type of person who likes variety instead of doing the exact same thing every day.
• Friends describe you as dependable, friendly and willing to jump in wherever needed.

We operate a fast-paced, cash-and-carry flooring store where everyone works together and helps wherever needed.  Whether you're helping a customer, unloading a truck, organizing inventory or loading flooring into a customer's vehicle, you're part of a team that keeps the store running smoothly.
 

Responsibilities Include…

• HELPING CUSTOMERS
  • Welcome customers and help them find the right flooring
  • Prepare quotes and complete sales
  • Answer questions and build lasting customer relationships
  • Keep the showroom clean and inviting
     
• KEEPING PRODUCTS MOVING
  • Receive and organize incoming flooring shipments
  • Load customer purchases safely and efficiently
  • Assist with inventory
  • Help maintain an organized showroom & warehouse

We're Looking For Someone Who...

• Enjoys talking with people and providing great customer service.
• Doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves and staying physically active.
• Likes learning new things and taking on different responsibilities.
• Is dependable and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
• Wants the opportunity to earn more through commissions.
• Takes pride in helping customers through every step of the buying process.
• Physically able to safely lift and move flooring products with assistance or equipment
• Comfortable prospecting for new business, reaching out to builders, contractors, and property managers.
